The Metravi 1810 AC/DC High Voltage Tester, is specifically a DC voltage tester designed for railway and power line applications.
It’s used to measure voltage in high and low voltage lines, including railway contact lines, and for verifying voltage and providing early warning.
The instrument uses a telescopic structure with a retracted length of 1600mm and an extended length of 5000mm.
It is designed for voltage measurement and electrical safety verification in high-voltage environments, particularly in railway and power transmission systems.
The Metravi 1810 AC/DC High Voltage Tester utilises a telescopic structure for ease of use and portability, allowing for measurements at various distances. It helps detect induced voltages that can occur during maintenance on power lines due to capacitance from adjacent energised/live lines, ensuring the safety of maintenance personnel and equipment.
