The Metravi CL-2160A Multi-frequency Cable Route Tracer and Locator serves as a Pipe and Cable Tracer for underground pipelines and cables without the need for excavations. It assists with:

Applications:

- Transmitter has three connection modes: inductive connection, direct connection and clamp connection; hence, suitable for different applications.
- The receiver detects the position, path, depth and tube current of underground pipes and cables.
- Left and right arrows indicate the target pipeline position fast and accurately; front and rear arrows and dB value indicate the point and size of the coating damage.

- Locates breakdown points (pipeline breakdowns refer to the coating damaged points while electric cable breakdowns refer to the outer layer damages.); detects the insulation damages of underground pipelines and cables.

- Has Multimeter functions: can measure the output voltage, line voltage, line current, impedance and power; can test the cable continuity and insulation quality before and after cable fault finding.
- Comes with external induction clamp: suitable for testing cables when they cannot be directly applied to the signal of the place.
