The Metravi OIR-600L Fixed Online Infrared Temperature Sensor is an Integrated Infrared transmitter thermometer.
It integrates a sensor, an optical system and an electronic circuit inside its aluminium alloy shell. It can be installed very conveniently by making the standard screw thread on the product and at desired installation position.
Any object transmits infrared radiation, and the radiation intensity varies with temperature. lnfrared temperature measurement uses thermal radiation within the range of wavelength 8-14um.
The Metravi OIR-600L Fixed Online Infrared Temperature Sensor/thermometer is a kind of hot-electron sensor which can receive the infrared radiation and transform it to a measurable electric signal, and its main assemblies are as following:
- Lens
- Spectrum filter
- Detector
- Electronic circuit (Amplifier/ Linearisation/ Signal processor)
Light path of the infrared sensor is determined by the specification of the lens. The spectrum filter chooses the best spectral range for temperature measurement. The respective amount of infrared radiation then is transformed to electric signals by detector and the electronic circuit.
